Sports talk.
I must say, I am quite embarrassed to be a Cards fan.Who's idea was it to make it #1 in the Big East, #1 over-all, just to go to the Elite 8 and blow it?!?! Really, guys?! Really.
NCAA Championship was looking hopeful as the Cards dominated #12 seed Arizona 103-64. Then on Sunday, after a pathetic attempt to stay tied with #2 Michigan state, they lost 64-52. Terrible. Absolutely horrible.
Hopefully next year they won't let their egos get into their heads so badly. It's pretty embarrassing for me and I'm just a spectator. I can't imagine being apart of the team that lost the #1 over-all seed against a #2.
Obama himself thought they'd make it farther than that! Way to go, Cards. Way to disappoint the President. That's awesome.

the bachelor
For once, I have actually been keeping up with weekly watching a TV series. After getting his heart broken by DeAnna Pappas from 'The Bachelorette,' Jason Mesnick moved on to be the leading man of "The Bachelor." From the looks of it Jason has definitely set his sights on Melissa Rycroft, a Dallas Cowboys cheerleader. It is unusual for the show to so obviously display who the lucky proposal goes to, so Stacey and I checked to see what was up. According to much speculation, Jason does propose to Melissa; however, their engagement ends approximately two months later (the break-up will be featured on the After the Rose Ceremony episode next Monday) and begins dating Molly Malaney, the girl who was left broken hearted without a ring. In addition, word has it that ABC has been planning this all along. This definitely made me say "Seriously?!?! Seriously." Why would a guy who seems to be such a respect-worthy gentleman do some crazy thing like that?! Hopefully on the After the Rose Ceremony Part 2 episode next Tuesday night he can save his dignity. Right now, he's lower than dirt in my book. I sure hope his son doesn't have to grow up with a father who did such a horribly shady thing. The poor kid already has experienced 4 of dad's women in his young 3 years.
Let's hope Jason has a little more class than ABC likes to reveal.

never ending countdown.
We had yet another snow day today.
It officially pushes graduation back to the next week.
Lame.
Stupid snow.
More than 3 more snow days and we're on to June. Ugh.
Needless to say, I haven't gone to school on my birthday since like 6th grade, if not younger, haha.

blank.
Not a lot has happened lately.
But no biggie.
Stacey, Daniel and I remembered how much we enjoy being together last weekend. We did the usual teenage stuff. Eat, walk aimlessly around a store being retarded, try to steal a shopping cart... It was fun.
Physics class started. Omg. I want to kill myself. I completely failed the quiz twice and I don't understand any of it. It would be really great if there was actually a teacher to teach us the dang subject. But oh well. I'll just pray and hope for the best.
I'm starting to kinda-sorta understand Calculus. I'm excited. It makes me hopeful. But it's still kind of tough.
I took the Spanish placement exam for UofL. I don't even qualify for the lowest level class. I would have to take intermediate classes before taking classes that actually counted towards a major. I was kind of disappointed. So I don't know about that Spanish minor...
Speaking of Spanish, I got the highest grade in the class on our latest quiz. I even beat Renee! I now have the highest grade on that quiz, and in the class! Woo!
Chelsie and I finalized our talent show song decision. Rush by Aly and AJ. We were pretty tired of the other song, so we changed it. We're still working out the kinks, but Mary should rest assured knowing that she's got some tough competition ready to kick her butt. :)
Chelsie, Dallas and I have formulated an ingenious, hilarious plan that hopefully will make for a GREAT blog if it works out as intended. But we'll have to wait and see. Muahaha.
I've been going to Shelby Christian on Sunday nights. I like it. I finally feel comfortable at a church and I actually voluntarily go there. I want to go. So it's good.
Life has been a roller coaster still, but gradually I'm getting back to my starting point. But if Mom doesn't get off menopause soon, we're gonna be having lots more problems...
Welp, see ya later.

a great day
So I'm not gonna lie.
Today was pretty great.
I was already in a good mood and was all giddy and stuff. And each morning this week has started off with a lil dose of Daniel so that always cheers me up. Go besties.
Well all the fun started in Calculus. I pretty much never know anything that's going on in that class and I hate every minute of it. Today all we did was take a survey so it wasn't so bad. Before break we took an amazingly difficult, amazingly ridiculous 7 question, 200 point mid-term exam that I was not excited about. I can never do the homework right, much less a whopping test! So today Daniel was all like "Mrs. Mac can we see our tests?" and I was like "NO! BURN THEM!" Well she showed us.
She graded them pretty leniently or else everyone would've failed. The highest grade in the class was 170/200 which is a B-. It was said that a couple of people got that. The lowest possible score based on how she graded it was a 130/200...and I was quite positive I got lower.
Renee was first to see hers, and go figure...170/200. More people that have better grades than me went. They were all disappointed. Daniel saw his and laughed that his terrible mid-term grade raised his even more terrible grade in the class. Then it was my turn.
I was not happy. I was like "oh no." It was not good. But then....I saw it.
170/200 baby!!!!!!!!!! Woooooo!!!!!
It lowered my Calculus grade, but I DONT CARE! I PASSED! With the highest grade!!!! Yay!!! I'm pretty sure I was the only idiot in the class who was excited about their score, haha. But that is A-OK.
So I had a high off of that until English... where it got even better!
We got to see our scores on the On-Demand test today. I'm no writer, so I was not looking forward to this either. But guess what! I got a Proficient! Woo! I am one of the happy people getting free pizza next week! :)
So that was today.
